Halle Mynard

Assistant Director of Bands, Bay High School

​

Halle Mynard is the Director of Bands at Jinks Middle School and the Assistant Director of Bands at Bay High School. She is excited to be able to help both schools build on past successes and move forward with excellence. In addition to serving as the director for the Jinks Beginning Band, Hornet Marching Band, and Emerald Concert Band, she assists with the Million Dollar Band.

A life-long Florida resident, Halle was born in Crestview, FL and was a member of the Davidson Panther Band at Davidson Middle School and the Big Red Machine at Crestview High School. In both organizations, Halle served in the highest position as Head Drum Major. Halle is a proud graduate of The Florida State University were she was a member of the Marching Chiefs, Wind Ensemble, Seminole Sound, and several other performing ensembles and concert bands. Her professional affiliations include Sigma Alpha Iota, Florida Bandmasters Association, and The Florida Orchestra. After receiving her Bachelors in Music Education, she taught at Union County High School and Lake Butler Middle School under Florida Band Master's Hall of Fame Director, Kelly Dorsey.

Halle comes from a band family and believes band is a wonderful outlet to connect and grow. She is excited to be at Jinks and is looking forward to a wonderful year of music.
